Hou You-Yi Visits NTUitive in Singapore and Lauds New Taipei Youths for Their Courage to Go Global and Bring Valuable Experiences Back to Taiwan!

New Taipei News- New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-Yi led a delegation from the New Taipei City Government to visit NTUitive, an innovation and enterprise company of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) on the 20th of April. NTU is ranked 12th in the world according to the 2022 World University Rankings. The delegation was hosted by NTUitive CEO David Toh and New Taipei youth entrepreneur representative Ted Chen, who shared their experiences in entrepreneurship education, the role of government in fostering business development, and the promotion of technological innovation and commercialization under the goal of sustainability, providing invaluable insights and experiences from Singapore for the delegation to bring back to Taiwan.

Mayor Hou praised Ted Chen, an outstanding young talent from Taiwan, for his courage to develop his career in Singapore, overcoming many difficulties in his efforts to venture into the green finance industry, and years later bringing back his experiences in youth entrepreneurship, international experience, and entrepreneurial skills to Taiwan, so that Taiwan can continue to develop international business and connect with the world. Mayor Hou also noted that since his last visit to Singapore four years ago, he has witnessed this remarkable talent grow his company from a small-scale operation into a stable and mature enterprise!

NTUitive is a collaborative effort between the university and I&E to create a new startup base (NTUitive) that combines business research, nurtures future talent, promotes innovation, supports entrepreneurship, and transforms knowledge findings into commercialization, and brings the entrepreneurial ecosystem to life through creativity, innovation, technology, and personal potential, and transforms them into realistic and viable solutions that New Taipei City can learn from and achieve locally.
